COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

My years of experimenting with cameras and storytelling techniques finally came in handy when an internship opportunity floundered and I was left jobless with a broken hand during the summer of 2015.

I was forced to think creatively and branch out as an entrepreneur. I started creating paid commercial work as a photographer for small Montana businesses and family friends and eventually built a portfolio that landed me a part-time job at K Design Marketing. I was responsible for promoting K Design across all mediums for over a year – essentially an in-house marketer for a marketing company.

Bozeman Broker Group – Dianne Click

I made this project for Dianne Click, Broker/Partner at Bozeman Broker Group. I showcased Dianne’s current properties and Bozeman’s surrounding area in hopes of attracting people to move to the Gallatin Valley and to choose Dianne as their realtor.

Frameworks Inc. & Click’s Construction

Master craftsman Kevin Click hired me to make two promotional videos for his two Bozeman-based construction companies. The first showcases an advanced manufacturing system Frameworks Inc. used to cut custom wall layouts to perfection before shipping, making on-site assembly of full homes or floor additions much faster. The second video demonstrates the process Click’s Construction used to build a second story addition to a garage near Four Corners, MT, using their pre-made wall system.

Big Sky Canvas

My first solo project at K Design was to photograph Big Sky Canvas’s product line and edit a promotional video they could display at trade shows.

Big Sky Imagination

I edited this video for Big Sky Imagination through K Design. Using footage my boss filmed on his phone I created this demonstration of their handicapped rifle support system.

Lost Projects

R.I.P. to the video I made for Missoula businessman Jeff Howard of Howard’s Total Vise through K Design Marketing. I edited a single 10 minute shot my boss filmed on his iPhone and recorded a voice over myself to help boost Total Vise on Kickstarter. The video was hosted on Total Vise’s YouTube account and has since been taken down and replaced.

Published Photos

I captured a photo published in the Kaimin covering a crazy series of events in Miller Hall my freshman year. Read the story here.
